Coming Out

Coming out can be a great challenge. We’re here to offer support as people who have gone through similar experiences. To help you get started, here are some links to an incredible wealth of information online.

The primary coming out resource offered by Pride Lafayette is our Coming Out Discussion Group. This is a safe space for discussing any concerns related to coming out. The group is for people of all ages and backgrounds. The group meets in the main room of the Pride Lafayette Community Center but will move to a new location if the groups determines that another place would be more comfortable in terms of privacy. Check our community calendar on our website homepage for dates and times of upcoming meetings. Also feel free to call the Pride Lafayette Community Center at 765-423-7579. One of our volunteers will be happy to talk to you and direct you to other resources in the area.
