ABOUT THE CENTER

In April 2003, we opened a community center to serve as a home base for the organization and to provide a place where everyone in the local GLBTI community can come together. Our first location was donated space given to us by a kind community member. In November 2004, we moved into a larger facility with multiple meeting rooms and a library. In June 2009, we moved to a location with approximately fifty percent more space than our most recent facility. Persons of all ages are welcome to drop by and check out what we have to offer.

Directions from the Tippecanoe County Courthouse are follows:

1. Take Main St. east from the courthouse (Main runs along the north side).
2. Cross 4th, 5th, and then 6th Streets.
3. After crossing 6th St. you'll have buildings on both sides of the street until you pass the Lafayette Brewing Company on the left. Then you'll see a surface parking lot on the right. Across the street from the parking lot is the Center!

The Pride Lafayette Community Center has two types of office hours scheduled to meet the needs of the organization and the community: business hours and social hours. Everyone is welcome to visit at any time. Check the community calendar on our website to learn more.
