President: Bryan B.

Bryan is a quality assurance representative for Evonik Degussa Tippecanoe Labs, and serves on the Lafayette Human Relations Commission. He was on the founding board of directors of Pride Lafayette and was a past treasurer for the organizaiton. Many of Bryan's concerns focus on collaboration among the various LGBT organizations in the Greater Lafayette area, and the need of greater visibility for those organizations so that the LGBT individuals can be recognized as positive, valuable contributors to the greater community. His hope for this board is that the collaborative effort will: encourage more networking among the Purdue University administration and the Greater Lafayette LGBT community; foster a greater sense of unity among all minorities; and identify unique resources within the community that are available to improve education about diversity issues.

Vice President: Ashley S.

Ashley is a laser specialist at AUI, Inc. She was born and raised in the Lafayette area. Ashley was the emcee for the 1st Pride Celebration in Lafayette in 2009. She is also the Entertainment Chair for OUTfest. Ashley is always looking for new ways to entertain the crowd so stop in and see her at the new center with any ideas!

Secretary: Michael Be.

Michael has helped raise very important and needed funds as chairperson of the fundraising committee. As someone who comes from a very small rural town in northern Indiana, he knows the great importance a place like Pride Lafayette is to a community and is working with the board to further the growth of Pride for all who want to take advantage of it. Michael wants to remind everyone that Pride Lafayette is here for everyone. Please let us know if you have ideas or suggestions.

Director: Kelly L.

Kelly is a Purdue staff member in the Office of the Dean of Students. He has lived in the Lafayette area since 1992 but was born and raised near Liberty, Indiana. Kelly served as the first president of Pride Lafayette (2002-2004). He currently serves as chair of the education committee. Kelly is a member of both the Purdue Diversity Roundtable and Lafayette-West Lafayette Development Corporation Diversity Roundtable. He's also chair of the Assistant Provost's LGBTQ advisory board at Purdue.

Director: Janette K.

Janette is on her second term as a member of the board of directors for Pride Lafayette, and is employed at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. in Human Resources.  She has been in the local and surrounding communities her entire life and looks forward to promoting diversity and serving our community.  She has also served on the Jesus Metropolitan Community Church (JMCC) homeless ministries team as Co-Captain, and on the Indianapolis Steering Committee for Human Rights Campaign (HRC).  This year Janette will be serving on the OUTfest Committee as Security Chair.  She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS) from Purdue University in 2005.  Janette is married to Dawn and they have been together for over 15 years.
